Place Exchange by Broadsign

A supply-side platform built to sell OOH to buyers who have never bought it.

  • SSP

This product has been renamed. Broadsign Reach now redirects to a page titled "DOOH SSP" that calls the product "Broadsign's Place Exchange SSP", and placeexchange.com resolves to broadsign.com. Place Exchange was an independent supply-side platform and is now a Broadsign product; material published before the change describes it under the old name. How entries are researched.

A pure supply-side platform: it exists to make a media owner's screens legible to omnichannel buyers who plan in the same tools they use for video and display, and who will not learn an out-of-home workflow to spend money. That framing is the whole product. Broadsign states integrations with more than fifty-five demand-side platforms worldwide. The controls are the ones a media owner with an existing direct sales team actually needs: floor pricing and auction dynamics to protect yield, brand safety filters, and competitive separation so two rival advertisers do not land on the same screen. It sits alongside Broadsign's own CMS, ad server and static campaign tools, but is sold as a layer over an existing stack rather than as a reason to replace one.

How this fits the rest of the directory

Nothing here runs on a player or a panel. This side of the category sells the time on somebody else's screens, so it does not join to the software and hardware collections on the platform vocabulary the way they join to each other. The connection is commercial rather than technical, and the directory does not record commercial relationships it cannot source.
