Concerto has been developed in the open since 2010, which makes it one of the oldest projects still active in this category. Its organising idea is the feed: contributors submit an image, a video, an RSS source or an iframe to a feed, and screens subscribe to the feeds they want. Feeds belong to groups and can be locked or moderated, so a campus or a large office can let departments publish to their own screens without opening up every display. It runs on Raspberry Pi and other ARM hardware without extra work.
