Screenlite
Screenlite
An MIT-licensed CMS and web player, published openly but not finished.
- Open source
- Free tier
- Self-host
- Pre-release
Screenlite is a centralised CMS with a browser-based player, split into a backend that manages content, schedules and devices and a client app that displays them. The project publishes openly and asks for feedback while it is still being built, and its own readme says plainly that it is not ready for production and not feature complete. Worth watching rather than deploying, and worth knowing about if you want to influence where an open source option ends up.
