ScreenTinker is a recent project that goes after the feature set of commercial products rather than the minimal end of open source. It ships a multi-tenant workspace model, a drag-and-drop multi-zone layout editor, proof-of-play reporting with CSV export, device telemetry and remote control of screens. The player list is the widest of any open source option here, covering Android TV, Fire TV, Tizen, webOS, BrightSign, Raspberry Pi, Windows, ChromeOS and any web browser. You can self-host it or buy the managed cloud version from the same team.
